DevOps Automation Engineer

inventYOU, a leading IT consulting firm, is expanding its team and seeking a talented DevOps Automation Engineer to work with one of the largest European organizations. If you’re passionate about driving automation, optimizing processes, and leveraging Kubernetes for scalable, secure deployments, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive migration plan and detailed engineering design to ensure smooth transitions.
• Provide a clear and phased roadmap for the migration process.
• Ensure designs are aligned with industry best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
• Update and maintain documentation to reflect changes and migration processes.
• Create robust automation scripts and tools for provisioning RKE2 clusters, ensuring scalability and repeatability.
• Collaborate with relevant teams, assisting during the migration and providing hands-on support.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth operations post-migration.
• Draft engineering diagrams and technical specifications for hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Create and manage pipelines for RKE2 cluster provisioning, adhering to the client’s automation ecosystem.
• Provide detailed documentation for maintaining and using the automation tools and pipelines.

Requirements

• Active security clearance is required.

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience in ICT (DevOps, system administration, software engineering, etc.).
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is mandatory.
• 4+ years of experience in Kubernetes (RKE, RKE2), with deep knowledge of cluster management and migrations.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Puppet.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting (e.g., RKE, RKE2, Rancher).
• Familiar with containerization and deployment practices (Helm charts, operators, pipelines).
• In-depth understanding of DevOps principles (automation, pipelines, feedback loops).
• Proficient in English (B2 level or higher).

Desirable Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
