The Integrations Operations Engineering team (IOE team) focuses on strengthening Plaid’s network with financial institutions by directly resolving issues with our integrations to increase reliability and quality of data, as well as creating new integrations to grow our financial network. The team therefore plays a mission-critical role in ensuring industry-leading connectivity to financial institutions to enable our customers to meet ever-expanding financial services use cases, and reach as many users as possible.
ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and resolve the highest impact integrations issues by writing maintainable code with tests and deploying them to productionParticipate in pull requests and other code review as both a receiver and giver of feedbackRotate in on-call schedules with other Engineering teams to ensure uptime of integrationsApply creative problem solving to solve problems at a more abstract and holistic levelQualificationsAt least one year of professional software engineering experienceExperience developing web services and APIs, or clients/integrations that interface with themCustomer-first attitude with a strong sense of empathyProven ability to identify and improve processes and increase efficienciesAnalytical and data-oriented approach to problem solvingFamiliarity or experience with TypeScriptOur mission at Plaid is to unlock financial freedom for everyone.
