Role Name: Social Media and Marketing Specialist

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Philippines Standard Time)
  • Total: 20 hours per week

Job Description: As a Social Media and Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of digital art promotion, crafting engaging content that resonates with art enthusiasts worldwide. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing social media ads, alongside other marketing efforts, to promote the gallery’s artists, exhibitions, and services. This role combines artistic appreciation with data-driven marketing, allowing you to showcase emerging talent while improving online campaigns. Your work will have a direct impact on artist exposure and business growth in a dynamic, virtual environment that values innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute captivating social media strategies for Instagram and Facebook to increase engagement and follower growth.
  • Create, manage, and track social media ads (e.g., artist call-outs, event promotions) for Instagram and Facebook, continuously optimizing performance.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns that drive artist promotion and gallery visibility.
  • Craft featured artist posts and other engaging content that tells compelling stories about emerging talent.
  • Conduct market research and analyze campaign performance to continuously improve marketing strategies.
  • Grow and nurture the gallery’s email subscriber list through innovative initiatives.
  • Manage and update the gallery’s Squarespace website with fresh, engaging content.
  • Curate and upload high-quality images and data to the virtual gallery platform, ensuring a seamless online viewing experience.
  • Collaborate with the team to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and artist promotion strategies.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management, particularly with Instagram and Facebook.
  • Strong experience in creating and managing social media ads  including tracking and improving ad performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from marketing data.
  • Proficiency with Squarespace or similar content management systems.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Keen eye for detail, especially in data entry and image curation.
  • Passion for art and design, with the ability to appreciate and promote diverse artistic styles.
  • Experience with virtual event promotion or online gallery management is a plus.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and marketing trends in the digital art space.
