Job Description

As a Bookkeeper in this exciting role, you’ll be at the heart of financial operations for multiple companies. You’ll manage a variety of transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare crucial financial reports. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with modern accounting software, tackle complex financial scenarios, and play a pivotal role in the financial health of diverse business operations. Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial records for multiple companies, including historical data dating back to 2019 

• Manage and categorize approximately 220 monthly transactions across three distinct business entities 

• Perform regular checkbook reconciliations for all companies 

• Compile and deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports to external accountants 

• Collaborate with management to ensure accurate transaction categorization 

• Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online 

• Participate in weekly check-in meetings to discuss progress and address any challenges




Requirements

• Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong understanding of bookkeeping principles 

• Experience managing financial records for multiple companies simultaneously 

• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and financial calculations 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines 

• Familiarity with ACH deposits and various transaction types 

• Adaptability to work in a remote environment with flexible hours 

• Willingness to initially work extended hours to catch up on backlogged financial data 

• Comfortable with modern accounting software and digital collaboration tools
