Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Strategic Account Executive to become a vital member of our innovative Sales team at a leading data and AI consultancy. This remote role is designed for individuals passionate about driving business expansion across multiple industry sectors through our extensive suite of services, including Data and AI, BI & Analytics, Cloud & Infrastructure, Advisory, and Enablement. You will have the unique opportunity to develop and enhance partnerships with esteemed collaborators such as Databricks, Azure, and AWS, while spearheading your own sales initiatives within a designated industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Industry Sales Lead to formulate and implement a sales strategy that surpasses objectives, cultivates a strong pipeline, and achieves desired business outcomes.
  • Utilize solution selling methodologies to foster sales and build enduring relationships with strategic prospects and influential decision-makers in your assigned industry.
  • Partner with industry Managing Directors and technical experts to effectively support your sales cycles.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly new business sales targets, concentrating on closing opportunities related to our core services such as machine learning, business intelligence, and data engineering.
  • Identify and capitalize on avenues to generate additional projects and revenue through various lead-generation methods, both within and outside of established channel partnerships.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with account executives at Databricks and other strategic partners.
  • Engage in quarterly business reviews with partners, co-sell to customers, and support collaborative activities throughout the sales process.
  • Act as the primary contact, building mutual respect and trust with channel sales team members within the industry.
  • Methodically track and manage sales opportunities within Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Own and oversee the complete sales cycle from qualification to closure, coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical resources to deliver optimal solutions for our clients.

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of experience in sales within both SaaS and solution-oriented organizations.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the landscape for selling data, analytics, and AI services, particularly in relation to platforms like Databricks, Azure, and AWS.
  • Proven expertise in establishing, nurturing, and expanding relationships within a Channel ecosystem, particularly with channel sales and C-level executives.
  • A verifiable history of managing intricate sales cycles including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, and deal closure.
  • A strong drive for achieving results, surpassing sales goals, and contributing to overall business success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a knack for communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to engage with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with channel partners.
