Remote Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting | WFH

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and results-driven Senior Accountant to enhance our Financial Reporting team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role requires expertise in generating financial statements and supporting documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal reports.
• Developing necessary schedules and documentation to meet monthly financial reporting obligations.
• Creating and managing journal entries.
• Reviewing and validating account reconciliations as assigned.
• Staying informed on changing accounting standards and providing interpretations of US GAAP, along with preparing clear technical memorandums.
• Supporting financial reporting management in the creation and maintenance of various monthly reports and evaluating the effects of any modifications in reporting structure.
• Complying with established internal controls and collaborating with management on monthly financial analyses.
• Identifying and applying enhancements to the financial reporting process.
• Participating in special projects and executing other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• CPA accreditation is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in public accounting or the accounting sector.
