Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Mortgage Loan Operations Processor to become a vital part of our esteemed loan processing team. This full-time contractor position allows you to manage a range of operational tasks within the loan processing department, ensuring the timely and efficient handling of loan applications. You will directly report to the Loan Processing Operations Manager and contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Process loan applications, including data entry, document collection, and verification.
• Execute operational workflows, ensuring timely and accurate loan processing.
• Review and maintain loan documentation, ensuring that all necessary documents are collected and properly recorded.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on loan files and documentation, complying with company policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with various departments, including underwriting and customer service, to facilitate seamless loan processing and address any operational challenges.
• Generate and maintain operational reports, track performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Respond to loan processing inquiries, providing updates and assisting in issue resolution.
• Suggest process improvements and provide feedback to the Loan Processing Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency.

• Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
