Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Virtual Physician to join our mission-driven organization, which is committed to revolutionizing healthcare by delivering personalized patient care. You will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality medical services to patients aged 18 and older through various virtual platforms including phone, video, and asynchronous messaging. Additionally, you will supervise a team of Advanced Practice Providers, enhancing the quality of care delivered to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive virtual medical care to a designated panel of patients, ensuring adherence to our established practices and policies.
  • Provide oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals across different service lines.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relevant to virtual healthcare delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team’s success.

Required Skills

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds.
  • Valid medical licenses in both Georgia and Texas.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a direct patient care setting, specifically in outpatient primary care.
  • Proven experience in supervising Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience providing care in an outpatient primary care setting (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med/Peds).
  • Experience in supervising advanced practice providers is essential.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base Salary: \(188,000 - \)246,750 annually.
  • Eligible for comprehensive employee benefits package.
