Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Manager to become an integral part of our expanding team within the healthcare services sector. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all general accounting operations, including general ledger and journal entries, along with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Review and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy in supporting schedules for audited financial statements.
Conduct monthly and quarterly analyses of financial statements and internal reporting workbooks.
Organize and prepare for internal and external audits, guaranteeing compliance and availability of documentation.
Develop and enhance reporting processes to improve the precision and timeliness of financial data.
Create and manage annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights to senior leadership.
Deliver comprehensive and ad-hoc analyses, including presentations to the board of directors and technical accounting memos.
Guide and mentor junior accounting staff to foster professional development.

Required Skills

Strong analytical skills to interpret accounting impacts of transactions and execute complex reconciliations.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

A minimum of 4-6 years of public accounting experience or a combination of public and private sector experience.
Experience in auditing healthcare firms or working within the healthcare services field is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
CPA certification is mandatory.
Familiarity with preparing and reviewing financial statements, along with knowledge of technical accounting standards (ASC 606, 842, SBC) and SOX/internal controls.
A keen attention to detail, resilience, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities.
