Position Summary...

What you'll do...

About Team: 
We are focused on ERP implementations in Manufacturing, Fuel, Pharmacy, Additive Manufacturing and Data science, business functions for multiple Walmart markets with SAP S/4 and EWM. 
What you will do: 

You will be part of a global engineering team set up that caters to several businesses across the globe at Walmart. The team leverages/implements standard modules as well as builds custom developments that integrate with several systems meant for People related solutions. Your code / solutions could potentially enable the business to achieve efficiency in their day-to-day processes and thus enable massive cost savings for Walmart. As a part of the team that works on Manufacturing, leveraging SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) for multiple Walmart markets will have a significant impact on Walmart’s business. You will partner with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and deliver successfully across projects. `You will play the role of functional consultant working on implementing solutions and support applications in your area of responsibility i.e., SAP EWM. 

 

Roles and responsibilities 

  • Drive design, develop, implement, support, and document solutions in SAP Manufacturing domain. 

  • Contribute to the team by applying SAP functional skills, to design, deploy enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of day-to-day business process. 

  • Coordinate with functional team and business to understand the requirement / problem and provide effective solution. 

  • Work closely with the technical team and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). 

  • Drive and fuel innovation within the team, Automate, build hacks, work on patents. 

  • Learn on the go and work on both new requests/projects as well as support production based on priority. 

  • Drive sense of urgency to meet operational KPI’s towards MTTD & MTTR adhering towards SLA vs Priority 

  • Ability to quickly understand the business impact and severity through deep process knowledge 

  • Demonstrate technical skills towards problem solving and providing quick fix. Mitigate impacts and perform RCA to avoid reoccurrence of issues by providing a long-term solution to the problem 

  • Contribute towards continuous improvement with periodic knowledge sharing with the application team. 

  • Deep Analysing q-RFC issues & proposing Permanent Fix for Recurring Queues 

Application support, bug fixes, user training, key user management, batch job monitoring, interface and IDOCs monitoring.

You have 

  • 4 – 5 years of experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) including 2 to 3 implementations in SAP EWM or SAP WM solution 

  • Hands-On Experience with minimum of 1-2 full cycle implementations of SAP EWM or WM module 

  • Should have knowledge on differences in the integration approach in SAP EWM 9.4 / SAP EWM 9.5 & S/4HANA (1909S/4 Hana & Fiori exposure is an added advantage (MM & EWM). 

  • Strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP S/4 with SAP S/4 EWM with working experience on Master Data Distribution using Reduced Messages and DRF 

  • Good understanding of Warehouse Operations and business processes in Manufacturing Domain. 

  • Experience in Inbound Cycle & Goods Receipt Process -> Delivery Based Receipt / EGR based Receipt 

  • Exposure and Experience in various Put Away Strategies 

  • Exposure to QIE 

  • Experience in Production Integration (Advanced and Traditional) and Goods Issue and Receipt against Process Orders (Preferred with experience to Food Processing industry) 

  • Picking Against Outbound Delivery & PMR and exposure to different Picking Strategies. 

  • Warehouse Task Creation & Confirmation / Warehouse Order / WOCR / Warehouse Process Types / Storage Control Enabled Processes 

  • Physical Inventory Processes / Replenishment 

  • Label Printing in EWM 

  • Queue Management (Analysis / Processing) 

  • Exposure and experience in Mobility, RICEFW, Catch Weight Management & Batch Management, PPF Actions 

  • Experience in creation of Master Data i.e., Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Organizational Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc.  

  • Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation  

  • Excellent in communication Skill 

  • Good to have SAP MM skills 

  • Basic Debugging Skill – (Advantage) 

  • Work on POC’s to take appropriate design decisions.  

  • Experience or exposure on Agile methodology
