Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Independent Senior Software Engineer - Backend Contractors to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems to enhance our applications.
• Continuously refine site architecture, development processes, and the software development lifecycle.
• Convert product specifications and technical designs into robust, low-defect code.
• Explore and integrate new technologies to elevate our architecture and development methodologies.
• Participate in collaborative code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Work closely with various departments, including product, sales, and customer support, to drive new growth strategies.
• Identify and resolve performance issues, offering effective solutions.
• Assist in orchestrating complex releases and code management, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Conduct software analysis, testing, and debugging to uphold high-quality standards.
• Implement best practices using static code analysis tools to maintain web standards.
• Mentor and support team members in overcoming technical challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to enhance product development.
  
  

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and their application.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and familiarity with tools such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with APIs (REST and GraphQL).
• Knowledge of client-side JavaScript frameworks and Agile development practices.
• Excellent collaborative skills, capable of working effectively in both onshore and offshore team environments.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing Java applications across various stages of development.
• Proven experience with backend services and distributed systems, along with a solid understanding of database interaction.
