What is the role?

We are looking for a Product Analyst to contribute to the evolution of Tabby. The Product Analyst will work in our Search and Recommendation systems team and will think about how to improve quality of user experience within core navigation and discovery tools in our Marketplace.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with our product and data teams to analyze Tabby marketplace search data, user query patterns and search relevance to improve the effectiveness of our search feature.

  • Support teams with the data that will help to enhance recommendation algorithms and optimize user discovery scenarios.

  • Evaluate partner content addition processes, including item feeds and other mechanisms, through data analysis to ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely integration of partner-provided content into the marketplace.

  • Generate hypotheses, conduct research and A/B tests, and present your findings clearly and compellingly highlighting the importance of your insights.

  • Support and monitor existing metrics related to search and recsys, identify areas for improvement and develop new metrics that inform decision-making across the organization.

  • Develop data visualizations and reports that are informative and easily understood by business and product teams.

  • Assist in the planning of necessary data structures.







Who you are


  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Data/Product analyst (MUST).

  • Having expertise in search analytics and/or user navigation analysis (MUST).

  • Basic knowledge of how the recommendation systems work.

  • Experience in building search/recommendation systems is a plus.

  • Knowledge of ranking/relevance assessment methods is a plus.

  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.

  • Experience in planning data for new products and features.

  • Strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, Numpy, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, etc.)

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and conducting A/B tests is a must.

  • Strong quantitative skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.

  • At least an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency is required.

  • Passionate about ensuring the quality of the products your team would deliver.
