The team

Join our Engineering Strategy Team!

We are a dynamic, globally distributed group dedicated to steering our Engineering organization toward its most impactful goals. Collaborating closely with engineering leadership, we ensure resources are aligned with high-value projects, driving efficiency and innovation through continuous planning and performance tracking.

Our team creates frameworks and tools to enhance cross-team coordination, streamlines processes, and actively removes non-value add work practices. We thrive in an environment of transparency and collaboration, fostering a culture of communication and excellence while elevating engineering’s reputation and morale.

The opportunity
  • Collaborate with core Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-performance, scalable products, automation, and reliability

  • Simplify complex dependencies by creating roadmaps that align with OKRs and KPIs

  • Lead and oversee all engineering programs across the company, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing large-scale, complex initiatives that span multiple teams and functions

  • Solve complex problems involving conflicting risks, roadblocks, and constraints, requiring a deep understanding of trade-offs and long-term impacts

  • Manage stakeholder alignment, achieving consensus on solutions in high-visibility, challenging situations

  • Drive team success by articulating a clear process vision, coaching colleagues, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and modeling organizational values

  • Influence and drive measurable improvements in the software development process, focusing on outcomes over outputs

  • Apply data-driven insights to measure SDLC effectiveness and communicate results to senior decision-makers

  • Cultivate relationships, remove blockers, and earn trust across Product and Engineering teams

  • Operate both strategically and hands-on to solve problems, regardless of size or complexity

  • Inspire teams to prioritize critical tasks and focus on what’s most important

  • Ascertain true requirements behind feature requests, recommend alternative approaches, and lead efforts to meet aggressive timelines

  • Capture and share best practices across Product, Engineering, and Business teams

Skills you should HODL
  • Proven experience in technical program and project management, with a strong background in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong technical background with deep expertise to credibly engage with technical leaders across the Engineering team. Background in a technical leadership role is a plus

  • Strong expertise in simplifying complex dependencies and creating roadmaps aligned with OKRs and KPIs

  • Expert at independently influencing and resolving conflicts, effectively aligning stakeholders with competing priorities to achieve resolutions in complex scenarios

  • Experience driving measurable improvements in software development, focusing on outcomes over outputs

  • Proficiency in using data-driven insights to assess SDLC effectiveness and communicate with senior leaders

  • A strong ability to build relationships and trust within and outside of engineering and product teams

  • Adept at managing complex challenges, including visible and hidden risks, and making effective trade-offs for long-term impact

  • Passion for continuous learning, problem-solving, and leading teams with an adaptable approach to execution

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and coach teams to success
