Job Summary:

The Data and Analytics Associate Director is a hands-on contributor responsible for maintaining oversight of Commercial Data including data mapping, data governance and data analysis. The role will interface with SP Data Aggregator vendor, PSS vendor, and Springworks IT, and Trade teams.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Data Operations & Governance: Manage Data Aggregator relationship. Collaborate with IT to ensure effective management of Commercial Data within Springworks Data Warehouse
  • Develop and retain command of Springworks national data, data processing rules, report generation, distribution, and reconciliation.  
  • Lead meetings with vendors and manage their services to resolve data issues.  
  • Onboard new data sources and enhancements to reporting platform.  
  • Proactively manage data files, business rules, vendor reporting issues, and associated methods, approaches, techniques, and technologies.  
  • Handle internal data customer inquiries related to data inquiries, data investigations, enhancement requests, information requests, deliverables, including data from the SPs, Patient Services, and the data warehouse, as well as associated corrections/resolutions.  
  • Support the refinement of launch dashboards based on end-user and cross functional stakeholder feedback, with a focus on optimal use and decision making.  
  • Routinely review inquiry queue and communicate updates to the Data Warehouse Change Request Board and ensure reports are continuously refined based on internal customer requirements, and document as required.  
  • Maintain user access controls and ensure audience is informed of confidentiality and inquiry processes.
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications 
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with varying levels of engagement, scope, and specifications.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field is required
  • 7+ years’ experience pharmaceutical data and reporting and analytics all working in the Pharma industry 
  • Launch experience required 
  • Oncology or rare/orphan drug experience preferred
  • Problem analysis and critical thinking experience  
  • Highly driven, self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative  
  • Knowledge of launch data concepts and how collection techniques can be used to track prescribing behavior  
  • Strong project management experience, including a strong willingness to take on responsibility and initiative  
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments, vendors, and consultants on a daily basis  
  • Ability to work with people from diverse functional backgrounds 
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, results-oriented, and growing company 
  • Knowledge of BI tools, Veeva CRM, Commercial databases, and their application to pharma business processes  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Macros, If Statements, Formulas), Access, PowerPoint and MicroStrategy Analytics Platform  
  • Intimate familiarity of IMS data (e.g. SMART, NPS, NPS, nRx, TRx IMS data etc.), statistical data software (SPSS and/or SAS), and Symphony is required  
  • Experience with data aggregation across commercial pillars (sales,market access, patient support etc.)
  • Ability to work in matrixed team 

  • Ability to influence without authority

Location Classification – Hybrid: 

This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), or more depending on business needs.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
