ERG’s Facilities Planning and Engineering team is seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality assurance processes and ensure our documents and services meet the highest standards. This position will involve working closely with program managers, project teams, and other stakeholders to monitor, report, and enhance the quality of deliverables, documents, and products. The successful candidate will join our growing team, focusing on quality work and fostering collaborative, long-term relationships with our clients and within our team.
Job Description:Serve as a quality resource for technical project teams by sharing best practices and quality resourcesTrack and report on quality across various projects, identifying challenges in implementing quality practicesAssist with the development of checklists relevant to each deliverable, service, and contract typeAssist in identifying necessary personnel or other resources to address quality-related issuesMaintain open communication with senior managers within the teamNotify appropriate staff, including Project Managers, Program Managers, Group Managers, and the ERG Corporate Quality Manager, of identified quality issuesMeet regularly with Program Managers to discuss typical contract deliverables and the necessary levels of reviewFamiliarize yourself with contract Quality Management Plans (QMP) and the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP)Assist in writing, editing, and refining progress reports and other quality-focused memorandumsReview deliverables to ensure alignment with quality plansCreate and implement documentation for tracking quality metrics, such as collecting client feedback and tracking quality performanceConduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency across all project stagesProvide periodic technical writing audits and training sessions for project teamsQualifications and Skills: At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Quality coordinator or in a similar roleBachelor’s Degree preferredStrong project management skills and the ability to manage an active portfolio of projectsDemonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholdersExperience with quality metrics, data analysis, and developing documentation to monitor and report on quality performanceExcellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skillsFamiliarity with Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processesExperience with quality review of hazard assessments, facility design, and other technical documentation is a plusRelevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, CQA) and process improvement experiences are a plusProven ability to utilize Microsoft products (Team, Word, Excel)Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearanceERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
