Octopus by Robusta Technology Group (RTG) is the tech hiring & outsourcing arm of Robusta Technology group hiring for ta top retail company in KSA a remote Senior Software Engineer in .NET.

What you’ll be doing

As a Backend Engineer, you will be working on different types of products from websites to enterprise platforms. As part of a cross-functional team focused on delivery, you will be responsible for building the engine that powers the entire product. Here are some examples of how your day will go:

Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications according to specifications.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project scope.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to enhance software functionality and performance.
Document software designs, code, and technical specifications.
Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements

What we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience using .NET with a strong command of C# and VB.NET,.net 8 along with the ability to handle complex tasks.
Microsoft certification is a must.
Azure and solid cloud knowledge, with proven expertise.
Proficiency in .NET Core, with a focus on microservices architecture.
Experience with DevOps practices, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
Strong integration experience, including working with APIs, RESTful services, and OData.
