Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.

The Global Quality Programs/Projects Lead is a dynamic and versatile technical role responsible for overseeing and/or supporting a variety of quality-focused, cross-functional team programs and projects within the organization. The role requires strong project management skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive the successful execution of quality initiatives. The Global Quality Programs/Projects Lead will be integral in supporting teams on a global scale, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and status reports.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across quality projects.
  • Lead or assist in stakeholder meetings and presentations, effectively communicating project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, promoting a culture of partnership and mutual respect.

Training and Development

  • Design training content, including annual GMP refreshers
  • Engagement of strong cross-functional relationships to drive global standardization of training content
  • Guide team members in quality management and project management best practices, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills.

Other Duties:

  • Work on other quality and compliance programs and projects as required.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned by senior leadership.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent.  Masters Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Broad work experience in QA, including skills in developing training content
  • Project management skills, certification in Quality Management or Project Management (PMP) is desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems and applications with demonstrated skills in the use of information management systems in a GxP environment (Document Management Systems, Excel, Teams, Planview, Microsoft Project, OneNote)
  • Broad knowledge of GxP requirements (US FDA, EMA, MHRA, as examples)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages (particularly German) is an advantage
