As part of our Food, Beverage and Consumer Goods team, you’ll help our customers connect business processes and leverage data-driven technology for better visibility, agility and responsiveness. We are seeking a dynamic Partner Manager to join our team and help expand our partner ecosystem. As
a Partner Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy by building and managing relationships with key partners in the consumer goods sector. Partners will include both third party synergistic product suppliers and business/system integrators. You will be responsible for onboarding new partners, developing joint go-to-market strategies that align with our commercial goals and ensuring the successful execution of market initiatives. Your ultimate goal will be to increase revenue through collaboration and strategic alliances.

Here's how:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for alliances and implementation partnerships for TELUS Consumer Goods products and services. Ensure alignment with the company’s overall business objectives and develop these relationships to create mutually beneficial alliances.
    ● Working with other TELUS teams including Customer Experience Excellence, TELUS Ventures, managing the negotiations process to establish partnership agreements.
    ● Work with the TELUS Partner Delivery Manager to ensure alignment between the sales and delivery of our work with partners.
    ● Track and analyze the performance of partnerships, using data to optimize and enhance the value of these relationships
    ● Perform the role of an Account Manager for the assigned partners accountable for the overall relationship and execution of Partner Agreements, Master Services Agreements and Statement of Works against agreed KPIs
    ● Strategic & commercial onboarding of new partners to expand our partner network in the consumer goods industry.
    ● Develop strong relationships with partners, understanding their needs, and aligning them with our SaaS solutions.
    ● Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement joint marketing strategies and sales enablement resources.
    ● Collaborate with the assigned Sales team member during Partner-based sales cycles
    ● Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and drive sales growth.
    ● Conduct regular business reviews with partners to share product roadmaps, assess progress, address challenges, and identify new opportunities.
    ● Act as the primary point of contact for partners, providing support and resources as needed to ensure their success.
    ● Oversee and coordinate any co-sale opportunities / RFPs up to the point of contract signature and hand over to the services team. This may involve working with sales representatives.
    ● Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new partnership opportunities.

What we would like our candidates to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with evidence of continued development
  • 10+ years of working in the Consumer Goods industry within a commercially facing role
  • 5+ years of experience in partner management involving SaaS software applications
  • Proven track record of successfully managing partnerships and driving revenue growth in the SaaS software industry
  • Ability to develop and present compelling case for change to different levels of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to implement training programs to support required changes
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Natural desire to find solutions with ability for appreciative enquiry
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence that enable you to build rapport and develop long term relationships
  • Determination to overcome challenges, adapt and deliver targeted results
  • Existing network within the partners that operate in our market would be a significant advantage.
