Job description

Salary: P120,000 – P150,000 (Monthly Package) 

Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST)

1 Year Contractual Position

What are we looking for? 

Skills Required:  

  • At least 3 years of Software Development experience 
  • Experience with C#, .NET Core, React, React Native, Next.js, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery 
  • Solid experience with Azure (Azure cloud services specifically Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, etc.), Azure integrations services including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management 
  • Azure DevOps - CI/CD (Experience in DevOps practices such as CICD, automation, infrastructure as code and monitoring) 
  • Azure B2C Identity and Access Management 
  • Microsoft platforms and productivity tools including MS Power Platform 
  • SQL Server and Azure SQL including data extractions and reporting in SSRS and Power BI 
  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns, TDD, BDD & test automation 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience in building mobile apps (Apple and Android) for online & offline use, utilising APIs, real-time push notifications. 
  • Experience in application modernisation of older .net Applications to Cloud Native Services 
  • Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse 
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols 

What will you do? 

This position reports to the IT Applications Manager. 

The role is responsible in designing, developing, and maintaining applications. Working closely with others to translate requirements into functional code and continuously improving applications to meet evolving user needs 

Development 

  • Prepare and/or review technical documentation, considering architectural and programmatic aspects of the solution.  
  • Develop and/or configure systems per best practice. 
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. 
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders across ITS and the business. 
  • Liaise with vendors, partners, and third-party service providers for delivery and support. 
  • Follow appropriate internal processes, as well as established industry standards for application coding, documentation, and code management. 

DevOps delivery 

  • Follow the organization's processes, and industry standards for development and code management. 
  • Ensure best practice security controls for the organization's systems. 
  • Continuously assesses capabilities, tools, and processes to improve DevOps maturity for customer experience improvements. 

Technical – Support 

  • Provide application support for the company products and services as per SLAs. 
  • Provide on-call or after-hours support for systems and services as and when necessary. 
  • Monitor the performance and availability of systems, promptly identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure business continuity. 
  • Create and maintain support documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to empower users and streamline support processes. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in application support and management.
