Job Summary and key responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Block Management Specialist ready to step away from day-to-day operations and focus on compliance and auditing. In this remote role, you’ll leverage your expertise in block management to ensure that our processes meet the highest standards. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll be crucial in maintaining compliance, conducting audits, and improving our service delivery. This is a great opportunity to shape best practices and contribute to excellence.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will provide full administrative and technical support to the Quality and Customer Care department

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Quality Assurance Manager and Head of Quality and Customer Care.
  • Carrying out audits on fire safety and Health & Safety for Estate and Block management, namely: FRA (Fire Risk Assessment Audits), Audit of P1, P2 & P3 actions, Audit of EICR, Legionella, Asbestos, Lift, Electric gate certifications. Audit of 18m plus building protocols in line with HSE along with a working understanding of Fire door requirements for the portfolio under management.
  • Completing weekly/monthly monitoring of company protocol adherence to include additional audits when required by the business.
  • Providing daily guidance to the branches on legislative queries via the Quality Assurance help line.
  • Maintaining the Quality Assurance documents on the intranet and updating where required.
  • Assisting with various team tasks as and when required
  • Keep updated with legislative changes and notify Process and Implementation.
  • Ensuring a working knowledge of Leaders and Romans systems and procedures and the variations in the business.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in industry legislation.

What are we looking for:

  • Very strong background knowledge of the leasehold block management industry with extensive experience within this field.
  • Must be fully aware of the industry changes to leasehold block management, fire safety act and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.
  • Industry qualification holding MTPI preferable
  • Reporting abilities – able to extract data and prepare meaningful reports within Excel.
  • Very good administrative skills.
  • Confident problem-solving skills, be able to handle day to day general legal enquiries from the branch staff.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Experience of using all Microsoft office programs
