You can expect to: Drive technical decision-making and architecture, balancing long-term scalability with rapid product development in a fast-moving startup environmentTake ownership of engineering outcomes, ensuring that technical choices align with business goals while maintaining a focus on delivering the best possible user experienceWork closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and balance trade-offs, ensuring that the engineering decisions align with the overall product strategyExecute on projects with a highly collaborative team, learning from and mentoring peers from a broad array of personal and professional backgroundsContinuously improve our customers’ experience in cross-functional partnership with our product and customer success teamsYou'd be great for this role if you:Have spent 6+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining a React application and corresponding backend frameworksBackend experience in Python is a mustFamiliarity integrating with payments processors (Stripe) is a plusFamiliarity with Remix is a plusHave experience creating and maintaining organized, responsive web development in a production environment.Love driving simple design and implementation with a focus on end-user behaviorHave demonstrated experience working in an agile environment, taking initiative, and shipping products while contributing to collaborative design, engineering, and product teamsConsider yourself a self-starter - eager to jump into new environments and learn through experience
