Role: Senior QA Engineer

Location: Remote (Contract)
Responsibilities
• Analyse user stories / use cases / requirements for validity and feasibility
• Collaborate closely with other internal teams to develop understanding of requirements
• Document test cases based on the planned / existing functionalities
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Provide support and documentation
• Provide visibility on progress of work on a periodic basis
• Provide meaningful estimate of assigned work with appropriate justification
Skillset Required / Mandatory
• Ability to work independently with minimum input or assistance
• Coordinate and effective communication with the development team and project leads
• Estimate the time required for testing
• Should have experience in Agile Methodology
• Ability to write test cases, executes test cases, and analyzes final results.
• Manage defect tracking, analyze and report, and assist in enhancements.
• Good in spoken and written English language
• Excellent analytical & problem solving, troubleshooting abilities
• Good understanding of software testing processes and bug life cycle
• Willing to scale up and learn new skills as per business / project needs
• Ability to understand database design and experience in writing SQL queries from testing perspective
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in Manual and Automation testing combined
