Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Marketing Manager works under the direction of the Regional Vice President and oversees the marketing efforts to generate new business submissions and retain existing business from our retail agents. This individual will serve as the initial point of contact for agencies for problem resolution. The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for the oversight of marketing regionally, and supervisory oversight will vary depending on regional staffing needs. Supervisory responsibilities may include Marketing Assistant, Marketing Representatives and Senior Marketing Representatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors the production for each agency and manages the agency base.
  • Responsible to lead, manage and hold the marketing team accountable; includes hiring, development and performance management of employees.
  • Meets with each agency at least once per quarter to review production goals, submission activity reports, renewal retention, learn success stories on new business written and gather market intelligence.
  • Attends various industry functions, as well as specific agency events
  • Maintains responsibility for new agency appointments as well as agency terminations when necessary.
  • Required to travel up to 50% of time.
  • Performs other activities, duties and assignments as needed or requested.
  • Eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangement.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in a business development role. Preferred experience in insurance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5-7 years of supervisory experience


Salary Description
$60,000 - $80,000
