Job description

Title: Payment Posting Manager

Location: Remote

Reports to: VP of Operations

FLSA Classification: Exempt 

Full-Time

Salary Range: $58,656 to $68,000

* Starting pay varies based on location and experience, in compliance with specific state wage regulations.  Competitive rates tailored to your geography and expertise.   

 

Position Overview: The Payment Posting Manager works with the team members to support organizational growth by providing strategic client direction, building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring clients projects are implemented to plan.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage all payment posting department staff on-site as well as offshore teams
  • Monitor all processes in the payment posting department
  • Determine and implement effective compliant work-flow
  • Direct team members in meeting client and company objectives
  • Determining short- and long-term resource requirements
  • Build and manage payment posting teams
  • Designating responsibilities among team members
  • Train new employees with ongoing monitoring and auditing 
  • Perform yearly performance evaluations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge in billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written)   
  • Excellent data collection, analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to educate and train staff both verbally and in written form with excellent documentation
  • Ability to oversee and perform work collaboratively within the department and company 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Ability to meet client deadlines and work well under pressure 
  • Superior attention to detail and problem solving
  • Superior ability to plan, organize, monitor, as well as strong decision-making skills 
  • Follow-up skills must be strong to ensure project completion 
  • Confidentiality is of the utmost importance 

 

Experience: 

  • 5 years Payment Posting experience required, in Billing/Revenue Cycle Management strongly preferred
  • Previous supervisory/managerial experience required
