We are currently looking for a Front-end Developer to strengthen our product development teams in Customer Information System unit. We have built a technology platform in the energy domain using Azure technologies to support the technology needs of future energy software products and make development and piloting new solutions fast.
Currently we have built products on top of the platform and are currently developing state of the art applications such as new Customer Information System (CIS) product including billing, contract, and customer information management for Energy company customers. You will be working on maintaining the existing and creation of new user interfaces built in the latest version of Angular.
As a Front-end developer at Tietoevry Industry (Energy & Utilities) you will
Collaborate with colleagues to develop new features and maintain our systems. Effective communication is key, so you'll need to provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders and global teams in order to achieve our shared objectives. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our software products. You'll also be expected to review and update technical documentation to ensure it remains current and accurate.
Qualifications
You have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science or other technical education
2+ years of experience in a Lead developer role
Experience with one of the following: Angular, React or Vue.js
Front-End dev basics – i.e., Callback Function, SOLID principle, Dependency Injection and (REST API) Templates
Advanced speaking and writing skills in English – we are an international team
Software development methodology – Agile/Waterfall, Iterative development etc.
Located in Finland (e.g., capital area, Kuopio, Jyväskylä, Lappeenranta, Tampere, Oulu or Vaasa)
We also appreciate if you have
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and unit testing methods (Jest)
Previous experience working in agile environments
Experience with Experience with Azure DevOps (TFS), MS Azure and NX
