We are looking for motivated Texans who strive to deliver industry leading customer service and who can assist customers over the phone with selecting the right products to build their dream cars or enhance their daily drivers. Phone Sales Agents sell products, offer upsells, and cross-sells products to match the customer's needs. There is no outbound/cold-calling involved, and we are not high-pressure sales!

Applicants must have a genuine automotive interest, a high level of attention to detail, capability to deliver exceptional customer service, and a knack for problem-solving. While not a necessity, any experience as an automotive hobbyist or prior careers within the automotive industry is highly desired and should be noted on your application.

Candidates must reside in Texas.

What can you expect from this job?

• You’ll take incoming calls from your home, driven by our catalog and website. No outbound, cold calling or high-pressure sales.

• You will help customers by providing professional guidance while looking up the correct parts, making recommendations and exceeding their expectations.

• You will place orders and upsell products to match your customer’s needs and benefit their projects.

Hours/Days: Initial paid training is Mon-Fri: 11:00a -7:30p CST. After the completion of training, agents will work Mon–Thurs: 1:30p - 10:00p CST, with alternating Friday’s or Sunday’s each week. Periods of mandatory overtime are required at certain times throughout the year.

Earning Potential**

First year of training and development, $15.00 per hr. + no commission.

Year two average is $16.25 per hr. (hourly + commission - Level 1 Sales).

Year three average is $17.50 per hr. (hourly + commission - Level 2 Sales).

Year three/four and beyond achieving Level 3 or 4 Sales pays a flat rate of $18.75 & $21 per hour.

Plus, overtime during our peak season for all levels.

**This is end of year estimated average potentials. Time to progress through the levels will vary based on your automotive knowledge, application of training, development pace, and sales skill.

• Ability to use a Windows based desktop computer system.

• Demonstrate an understanding of the Internet, Google Search and Summit Racing site.

• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathize and prioritize customer needs.

• Problem solving skills, strong time management, and attention to detail.

• Provide appropriate solutions and pursue all sales opportunities.

• Be accountable – be ready to work so your team can count on you.

• Work with integrity – we want to win and do it the right way.

• A quiet and dedicated room in your house to work from with high speed cable Internet 25mb plan minimum (No DSL).
