The Opportunity:

CACI’s Agile Digital Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Systems Architect who will be a part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) team.  NCAPS is a consolidation of current applications to standardize NASA’s IT systems and applications to include general IT, customer support, information management, mission support systems.  Bring your expertise to this Agile CI/CD team to safeguard NASA’s Enterprise.  


Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level systems engineering support. Applies expert knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.

  • Analysis related to the architecture, design, development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.

  • Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems.

  • Provides leadership in software engineering design and modification.

  • Contributes advanced software services on all aspects of equipment. Works directly on problems that are complex to analyze, plan, program, and operate.

  • Confers with functional area experts and authorities to determine the software application requirements of the program.

  • Analyzes problems within the program; make recommendations based on input from the Government and other personnel. Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

  • Provides leadership to other architects, engineers, analyst, and/or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group associated with one of more technical areas.


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree (will consider experience in lieu of degree)

  • 12 or more years of experience as a software engineer, systems architect, or related role

  • Experience serving in a leadership role within technical teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with developers and translate that understanding into effective technical writing for non-technical end users.

  • Experience in preparation of roadmaps and enterprise architecture products

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must already hold, or be willing and able to obtain a NASA Public Trust Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Desired:

  • NASA Public Trust Clearance

  • Prior NASA experience system architecture/engineering experience

  • SAFe Certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
