What you’ll be doing...

The Tech Enablement Senior Manager for the Managed Network Services team is responsible for the strategic development and integration of the Virtual Network Services product portfolio, including solutions that span SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and SASE. This role will work closely with product management, GTS, product engineering, TPD, and Network to ensure that our Managed Network Services products meet the needs of our customers and align with our overall business goals.


 As a Tech Enablement Senior Manager, you will be an integral part of the Verizon Business Group’s Technology Solutions organization. You will influence the Managed Services technology stack, support systems, and tooling design to deliver great customer experiences. You will work closely with the Product Management team to define customer requirements for the streamlined Managed Network Services (MNS) offering. You will drive these requirements with the GTS, GN&T, and vendor organizations to deliver these solutions across the quote, order, bill, and support experiences.

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for Managed Network Services, including identifying new features, enhancements, and integrations.

  • Work with engineering to ensure that Managed Network Services products are developed according to the product roadmap and meet the needs of our customers.

  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to align technical capabilities to the go-to-market strategies for Managed Network Services products.

  • Work with customer success teams to ensure that Managed Network Services products are successfully deployed and adopted by our customers.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the Managed Network Services market and identify opportunities for innovation.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify and track the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors' products.

  • Manage the Managed Network Services product development budget and ensure that it is used effectively and efficiently.

  • Refine the MNS technology, platform, and tooling capabilities from an outside in approach to address customers’ business outcomes.

  • Interact with senior level executives within Verizon and with customers to tie together the Verizon strategy goals with delivering on customer objectives.

What we’re looking for...

 

You’ll need to have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Six or more years of Product Management experience in building B2B advanced networking, SaaS or telecommunications products

  • Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.

  • Experience with understanding consumer insights, market trend analysis, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping and analytics.

  • Experience in operating within a multi-channel/multi-region brand.

Even better if you have one or more of the following...

  • Deep knowledge of industry leading Software Defined solutions and automation.

  • Broad understanding of Verizon domestic and global product offering across MNS and VNS portfolios.

  • Ability to conceptualize new, innovative applications/services and justify design, build, and/or buy decisions using solid ROI analysis.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating/inspiring them to go the extra mile, even in uncertain circumstances.

  • Experience working in a dynamic environment where diverse perspectives are respected and considered for creative solutions to difficult problems.

  • Excellent communications and prioritization skills, and strong business acumen.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $221,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
