We are currently looking for an Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist to join us at our facility in Sydney-Marsden Park, Australia.

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Product Stewardship and Regulatory Specialist to join our team at Marsden Park on a 12 month parental leave, fixed term contract.

Working from our head office you will be responsible for ensuring product regulatory compliance and business right to operate through focus on existing and emerging regulatory topics with the objective of understanding and communicating the potential impact on our business.

To be successful in this role you will require experience in substance registration regulations, substance use restrictions, substance management requirements, hazard communications and classifications.

Key responsibilities:

•         Review on product chemical inventory compliance, ban and restriction status.

•         Manage product regulatory elements of new product introduction process in ANZ, collaborating with key cross-functional stakeholders.

•         Conduct regular training to business to ensure that product stewardship & regulatory processes are followed in ANZ business.

•         Ensure that regulatory information in regulatory systems is up-to-date and accurate.

•         Annual AICIS declaration submission

•         Product SDS creation, review and distribution.

•         Product hazard label creation, review and approval.

•         Coordinate new chemical permit or certificate registrations in AU & NZ.

Key requirements:

•         Bachelor degree in Chemistry or equivalent

•         Minimum 3 years’ experience in product stewardship and regulatory compliance, specific to ANZ.

•         Proficient in regulatory submission processes, document management systems and quality systems.

•         Strong influencing and effective communication skills to interact with senior management, internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

•         Experience in working for a multinational is desirable.
