About the Role
 

LexisNexis is a leading provider of expert witness information, dedicated to delivering accurate and timely research results to our clients. Our objective is to support the legal community by providing comprehensive and reliable expert witness services. As an Expert Witness Research Analyst, you will conduct thorough research, evaluate findings, and deliver expert witness information promptly and accurately to our clients.


 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting required research utilizing internal and external resources.

  • Managing the life cycle of expert witness search requests while maintaining efficiency through multitasking.

  • Delivering clear, concise, accurate, timely, and thorough communication to internal and external customers.

  • Applying established standards to the order management process to effectively meet departmental objectives.

  • Advocating for customers by reporting feedback and resolving issues effectively on the first pass.

  • Collaborating across the organization and working cooperatively in a team environment.


Requirements

  • Possess a Juris Doctorate or Paralegal credential with a solid foundation in legal research and practical experience is advantageous. Equivalent education/experience will also be taken into consideration.

  • Experience with Lexis Advance and Lexis + products is advantageous.

  • Possess excellent PC skills, including proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office. You should also be adept at basic troubleshooting and have a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.

  • Able to give and receive information in an effective professional manner, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Show dedication by efficiently resolving customer issues and demonstrate sharp business acumen in assessing decision impact on customer satisfaction. This is reflected in Net Promoter Score performance.

  • Prioritize being available full-time (40 hours/week) during our support hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM EST). This exhibits your commitment to supporting a global organization and meeting customer expectations.
