Sr Staff, Software Engineer

About the Role

Partner with Product Management, Technical Management, and Architecture in the design of software products. Embrace and implement best-in-class DevOps practices with end-to-end “design, build and run” responsibilities with the aim of operating a low-touch production environment, and mentor other developers in team. Partner with like-minded engineers in empowered and self-organized product teams. practice relentless automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Design, implement and launch highly visible features for our Pricing platform. Gain an extensive understanding of key dependencies with external and internal teams to collaborate on cross-functional initiatives. Write well-written, self-documenting code that follows best practices and design patterns. Develop, test, deploy, and support software in the azure cloud that supports business needs. maximize system uptime/availability and ensure functional & performance SLAs are met and establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting for various systems. Must appear in office 2 days per week; Working from home permissible 3 days per week.

Salary Range: $206,315 - $211,315
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.

What You'll Do

• Building Spring boot applications with Java 8/11;
• Containerized deployments involving PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry);
• Kafka Messaging Frameworks;
• Caching solutions: Redis or Nginx;
• Testing Frameworks: Junit and Cucumber;
• Big data integrations involving HBase and Spark;
• SQL, No SQL Databases including Postgres and Mongo; and
• Working Knowledge on Azure or any Public Cloud Environment and CI/CD using Jenkins.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in an Information Technology-related role or in the job offered
