Commercial Manager - Betfair Brazil

Job title: Commercial Manager

Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil

Overview of the role:

Betfair is looking for a Commercial Manager to play a critical role in designing, implementing and monitoring the regionalised sports & gaming strategy for Brazil, one of Betfair International’s key markets.

Our new Sao Paulo workspace is the perfect place for team collaboration and individual growth. It is located in the Paulista neighbourhood with great transport links across the city and exciting working environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Commercial Touchpoint – support senior commercial stakeholders as the key touchpoint within the Commercial team for inputting priorities across key relevant business functions: e.g. Marketing, Product, Customer operations, Risk and Trading, etc.

  • Pricing & Risk Strategies – be the Brazilian customer’s commercial voice, inputting into defining our Pricing strategy and working closely with the trading team ensure its delivery.

  • Commercial Understanding – supporting the analysis and interpretation of performance, growth indicators, and competitor drivers. Working with key commercial leaders to continually identify areas for strategic and operational improvements that support our Brazilian business.

  • License approval – support senior commercial and Brazilian steerco stakeholders with the defining, scoping, prioritisation and delivery of relevant regulatory requirements necessary for Betfair International’s Brazilian license approval. On an ongoing basis, support any regulatory changes in markets as required.

  • Betfair International Team – lead a small team responsible for on-site quality assurance, testing new products and journeys to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience across our website.

  • Presentations – play a key role in creating insight from data, making strategic recommendations, and preparation of materials that will be shared with senior management: e.g. the Betfair International Monthly Business Review (MBR) pack.

  • Brazilian Tribe – contribute to the Brazilian tribe, sharing key insights and localised knowledge with other members, both internal and external to the Tribe, and through completion of weekly wrap up.

  • Brand localisation - Act as point of contact for Marketing and CRM teams, helping shape locally relevant customer communications, ensuring content plans are in-line with principles established from commercial senior management.
