Reporting to the Senior Data Quality and Reporting Lead this role is accountable for implementation and execution of HUB24 data quality program.  Primarily this role will support and maintain HUB24 data quality tool (InvestigateDQ), driving and maintain data quality validations as requested across the organisation data eco system and providing support as required to the Senior Data Quality and Reporting Lead in executing the organisations road map deliverables for Data Quality Program.

Ideally to be hired in Melbourne, we are also open to candidates in Sydney.

Key deliverables
  • Predictive and Detective Analytics:
  • Evolve, enhance, and align data quality business rules for the HUB24 Group.
  • Deliver tactical deployments of HUB24’s data quality roadmap items.
  • Leverage analysis capabilities to identify preventative initiatives and support their execution across the organization.
  • Data-Driven Consulting:
  • Conduct issue resolution by reviewing data quality outputs, assessing issues, and working with Business SMEs to drive closure.
  • Provide detailed qualitative analytics in support of remediation activities using SQL and available data quality toolsets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address reporting needs, ensuring a self-service approach for platform administration teams.
  • Financial Crime Data Support:
  • Maintain, enhance, and evolve HUB24’s fraud, transaction monitoring, and customer screening data validations as directed by the Senior Data Quality and Reporting Lead.
  • Regulatory Reporting Support:
  • Cross-train and provide backup support to reporting analysts responsible for data quality, report preparation, and compliance with trustee obligations.
  • Ensure timely lodgment of reports to regulators by mandated due dates.

  • Skills & Experience Required:
  • SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills are essential for data quality validation and report writing needs.
  • Enterprise Data Solutions: Exposure to enterprise data lake solutions (e.g., DataBricks).
  • Data Interpretation: Proven ability to assess and interpret data within an organization's ecosystem.
  • Superannuation & Investment Knowledge: Excellent understanding of superannuation and investment products, alongside data quality principles.
  • Documentation Skills: Strong documentation and interpretation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Tools & Platforms: Exposure to JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
