Job Title: Account Executive – Statement (Premium)

Reports to:  Director of Sales, Lifestyle

Location:  Remote

The Role

In this critical role you will be responsible for driving, leading, and implementing the HOKA brand & commercial product strategy within our independent statement category, ensuring long term organic, sustainable revenue growth is achieved.

A highly disciplined, strategic and creative approach relative to assortment planning, merchandising, order book management, GTM activations and cross functional teamwork is essential in ensuring HOKA is solidified as a core brand within each access point, whilst creating brand heat and momentum.

This role will deliver the agreed upon targets both from a revenue and GTM perspective through a thoughtful, strategic and creative mind set relating to account management, GTM activations, exploration of new categories and opportunities within the current and new accounts, excellent inventory management, and internal and external cross-functional team strategies. 

The AE will become a trusted resource internally feeding back sell through, product feedback, key trends, competitor analysis and overall category information to the relevant cross functional teams.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

• Build meaningful long-term relationships with strategic independent retailers across the US, who will support and prioritize HOKA.

•  Build seasonal assortments protecting the core inline HOKA business whilst growing the Statement specific product offering to maximize brand & product moments most effectively throughout the season.

•  Position the brand within each access point ensuring HOKA is set up for long term access point growth & influence

 • Work cross functionally with the FER & GTM teams respectively to activate effectively, tell the brand & product story with trend conscious and thoughtful activations

  • Proven ability and understanding of how to organically & strategically grow the influential account base.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic & knowledgeable regarding the Sneaker and Fashion category.
  •  Ability to work independently and in a team setting and understand the ever-changing nature of the industry and role.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience managing an account base, ideally within the Lifestyle footwear industry
  • 2-3 years of previous wholesale or buying experience is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience within the Lifestyle category
  • Keen to be part of an exciting, influential and fast-moving category
  • Each workday will be different from the last, the unique nature of these access point means the ideal candidate will need to think on their feet and “wear multiple hats “
  • Effective, Open & Honest communicator
  • A desire to learn, develop & grow as this exciting and unique business unit continues to be built.
  • Deep understanding of retail math, metrics, and ability to build budget and forecasts, in Excel.
  • Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, customers, and other employees of the organization.

$80,000 - $90,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
