Position Summary: 

The Business Development Representative II will have the opportunity to qualify prospective clients, transition them to customer acquisition and acquire new accounts by calling on leads to meet their target sales monthly. This position will be primarily focused on and responding to customer inquiries for information; converting Marketing leads into qualified sales opportunities.

Essential Job Functions: 
  • Achieve monthly quota of Qualified Leads (demos, appointments) by initiating calls to prospective clients every day
  • Report and record all activities in Salesforce.com, a web-based CRM system, and qualify leads for sales development
  • Accurately record sales and summarize interaction with customers
  • Convert new lead opportunities daily to build sales pipeline
  • Prepare and qualify targeted prospect accounts / leads by using internal criteria
  • Send emails and make prospecting calls, to peak interest in learning more about Truckstop.com products and services
  • Manage lead, opportunity, and development pipeline in multiple systems
  • Ability to become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop.com's products and services
  • Exemplify Truckstop.com's core values and behaviors
  • Ability to adapt and be an early adopter of change

Position Requirements: 
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of professionalism and a true desire to speak to prospective clients
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation / communication skills, including both executive and technical audiences
  • Proficient in using multiple software applications simultaneously 
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and basic spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail
  • Preferred: Experience in carrying and reaching a sales quota
  • Preferred: Bilingual Spanish / English

Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
$18$19 USD
