AVER is a fast-growing SDVOSB that has achieved significant revenue growth over the past 5 plus years with much of our work focused on Data Analytics, Mission Support, IT Modernization and Biometrics. AVER is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to provide operational support and requirements gathering to assist stakeholders with identifying cybersecurity vulnerabilities and support the Government’s activities in establishing and coordinating outreach programs and stakeholder partnerships. Be a part of a collaborative team who values AVER’s mission, focus, and culture of delivering exceptional client service with great people and transformative technology solutions that ensure Government mission success.

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Bridge the gap between ServiceNow and government stakeholders through continued collaboration to ensure solutions meet stakeholder goals and needs
  • Lead the gathering of requirements, customer feedback, and priorities for future improvements for the division's ServiceNow instance
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow team to transform requirements into viable solutions
  • Translate requirements into business needs via user stories (acceptance criteria, personas, user journey, process flows, etc.) for future development and implementation
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding request status, priority, and estimated completion of tasks
  • Work closely with the ServiceNow team and CISA project and program managers to drive technical standards, Out-of-band (OOB) architecture, and overall platform simplicity and scalability principles
  • Operate cross-functionally across stakeholders to gather requirements, customer feedback, communicate priorities, and provide solutions
  • Own, prioritize, and refine the ServiceNow product backlog to maximize the business value delivered
  • Work with various teams to steer projects through development and deliver top-notch products.
  • Prepare and facilitate multiple training courses to assist stakeholders in understanding and use of the product.
  • Create training documents and manage repositories within SharePoint and ServiceNow to ensure proper knowledge is captured and shared among stakeholders
  • Assist with general Operations & Maintenance (O&M), ensuring that systems (i.e. ServiceNow) are operating effectively and efficiently. 
Education Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
Experience Requirements:  
  • Experience working with and using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience working with and using ServiceNow
  • Experience with requirements gathering and process analysis to improve efficiencies
  • Experience facilitating communication between stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and progress
  • Experience in creating training documents and facilitating training sessions with stakeholders
Desired Requirements:
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology and technologies
  • Prior experience supporting federal government customers
  • Familiarity with Knowledge Management
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving skills 
Location:  
  • REMOTE
  • HYBRID (If Local to DC – In office once a month) 
Security Requirements:      
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust) 
  • This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship
