Garland is seeking a dynamic, motivated, self-starter for the role of Manager, Accounts III.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities, with a focus on cultivating potential clients from the initial stages through to successful field testing. This role is particularly suited for individuals with experience in the food service industry, especially those who have worked with food service representatives and dealers. Candidates with a technical background or a strong curiosity, as well as a passion for cooking or culinary expertise, are highly valued. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to nurture opportunities from discovery through to successful field implementation.

 

Reporting to the Director of Sale, this position may work remotely in the US, preferably near a major airport.

Major Accountability:

  • Pursue and develop new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients, from initial contact to field testing.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, ensuring their operational and culinary needs are met, and providing ongoing support throughout the sales process.
  • Address client issues, conduct research, and recommend product enhancements or modifications to meet client-specific requirements.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Leverage experience with food service reps and dealers to build relationships and tailor sales strategies.
  • Sell directly or through channel artists to provide customized services and solutions for potential clients.
  • Adhere to company policies, practices, and procedures consistently while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer needs and determine the best solution for the customer.
  • Explore marketing channels and continue the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes, and negotiations to drive performance.
  • Develop and implement medium to long-range strategies to ensure continuous growth and client relations.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
    • Experience and knowledge of working with food service representatives and dealers.
    • Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome challenges in the sales process.
    • Experience with Salesforce.
    • Experience with sales management tools.
  2. Education and Experience
    • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Sales/Marketing
    • 4 to 7 years of experience.
  3. Working Conditions
  • Must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
  • Must be able to travel to the United States. Travel requirements up to 50%.
