About the Position
The NetSuite Developer will be responsible for software development, design and overall performance of customization in NetSuite to support the greater global WatchGuard business. This person should be an expert at understanding business requirements and translating them to first, out of the box solutions in NetSuite and secondary building sustainable and scalable customization with the Financial and Fulfillment system. The successful candidate will work directly with other engineering team members as well as interface directly with business teams in understanding the needs and processes required.
A day in the life…Working with defined requirements on building configuration and customization and unit testing changes within the NetSuite systemHelp and support deployments through the environments, as well as seasonal updatesSupport scalable solutions to keep the application running as efficiently as possibleWork in a development pipeline involving source control and automated testing of the financial systemDesign and build integration to other application and support data analyticsProvide guidance to team members and internal stakeholders on best practices of both internal NetSuite functionality but to business processWork with and support a wide array of team members all working within an Agile framework, meeting daily to maintain alignmentAssist with validation of customizations during routine system maintenance, including upgrades and patchesHelp troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite customizationsAnalyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvements related to customizationsPosition ResponsibilitiesWeb services required (REST, SOAP)Experience integrating 3rd party applications and working with integration tools such as Dell BoomiExperience with building automated test process within NetSuite with an application like Jest or JasmineSupporting source control automation with GitHub and Ci/CD with Jenkins for NetSuite customizationDemonstrated ability to develop relationships and communicate status with IT and Business partners, stakeholders and senior managementDemonstrated ability to understand the scope of project status, issues, and risks across multiple projectReliably estimate defined requirements and break them down into Sprint size chunksSkills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field3-6 yrs. experience in Software development of NetSuite one world financials applicationsGood understanding and speaking in English is mandatory for this positionExperience in NetSuite ERP, CRM and Suite Commerce and NetSuite technology infrastructureExperience in Suite Script 2.0, Suite Flow and Suite Cloud framework is requiredExperience with NetSuite ERP and WSMUnderstanding of NetSuite model and functionalityExperience in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, AJAX, Suite ScriptUnderstanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, as well as experience with object-oriented languagesCompensation
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 5% of the base salary. Your base salary compensation will be based on your individual skills, education, and experience. Please keep in mind that the above range is the full base salary range for this role; hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.
