Job description

Cyber Data Analytics Lead

Key Role:

Review Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) packages submitted by the client or System owners to determine scope and applicability of sensor onboarding. Ensure data calls are completed and adjudicated to enable Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls related to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI) onboarding. Provide technical review assistance for client working groups and brief government clients when system owners request an exception to policy, as required. Provide periodic briefs to senior government and military leadership discussing progress using data to execute operational priorities, associated blockers, and solutions. Provide PowerBI dashboard development support using raw data queried from Azure Data Exchange (ADX). Demonstrate in-depth and technical knowledge in DoD planning to analyze orders and meet client mission objectives. Support the execution of deliberate and crisis plans. Provide guidance and assistance to Crisis Action Team, Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups, including DoD, exercise support, and Maritime Planning Groups. Assist with drafting, coordinating, and attaining approval of plans and orders to subordinate commanders, external agencies, and combatant commands. Participate in joint planning to support initiatives. Analyze Concepts of Operations for the forces bringing them together in a global and holistic mission with clear guidance on how to operate and standardize and defend networks proactively. Standardize tactics, techniques, and procedures and expertise for all forces across the client and provide clearly stated operational needs to the client.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with supporting military, government cryptologic, or defensive cyber missions

  • Experience with end point security, including cloud-based internet isolation (CBII)

  • Experience with MDE, MDI, eMASS, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Aps, Azure Data Exchange (ADX), and Splunk

  • Experience with Flankspeed Administrative Account, Tier 1 Access, Microsoft 365 Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel

  • Experience with Navy RMF

  • Experience with data analytics

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED   

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with drafting, coordinating, and attaining approval of plans and orders

  • Experience with joint planning to support DoD initiatives

  • Experience in mission planning with a military or government Operational Planning Team (OPT)

  • Experience with drafting and developing Navy Orders, tasking orders (TASKORDs), operations orders (OPORDs), and concepts of operation (CONOP)

  • Experience as an Action Officer (AO)

  • Experience as an IP Officer

  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Spinnaker

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
