2260 E. Imperial Highway El Segundo, CA 90245 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Lead Marketing Analytics, Cloud Architecture needed by DIRECTV, LLC in El Segundo, CA [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to Gather, merge, analyze and interpret retention data focused on sepdn, churn, call volume, viewership, and treatments based on multiple customer segmentations. Work closely with data analysts and business users as part of an agile team to develop datasets that enable visualization, machine learning, and data driven decision-making across our streaming and satellite TV products. Support retention strategy and assist the organization optimize campaign performance and ROI. Responsible for daily review of data flows each morning to ensure there are not any errors or job failures. Create data dependencies and automate tasks. Optimize data performance in Databricks and Snowflake. Collect data, transform it, and load it to the warehouse or tableau environment. Deploy, maintain, and improve data pipelines. Develop dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI to support automation of analysis, visualization, and optimization for an executive level audience. Responsible to build data infrastructure, dashboard building and conducting analysis (variance, cohort, spend/churn, and viewership). Develop complex and basic reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings. Advise business partners regarding patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes. Provide solutions to improve performance of business based on analysis. Utilize Python, SQL, Databricks Engineering, Snowflake, Tableau, disparate data sets, data mining, and data visualization. Utilize experience in advanced analytics, data science, big data, relational database structures, reporting, dashboarding, and ad hoc analysis.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Python, SQL, Databricks Engineering, Snowflake, Tableau, disparate data sets, data mining, and data visualization; and utilizing experience in advanced analytics, data science, big data, relational database structures, reporting, dashboarding, and ad hoc analysis.
