Job description

The Senior Content Marketing Specialist creates, optimizes, and curates a full range of thought leadership content and product-focused marketing materials based on strategies that are driven by audience, channel, market, and data intelligence and stakeholder alignment. This role brings value to our audiences with content that captures the Workiva voice and amplifies our company point-of-view.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and support the content marketing strategy to help achieve organizational goals and address market opportunities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry principals to recommend, create and deploy audience-centric content across the buyer journey 

  • Create compelling, actionable content that includes but is not limited to whitepapers, e-books, infographics, customer stories, web content, emails, and product materials

  • Evaluate content for consistency and adherence to Workiva creative guidelines

  • Establish performance measurements and set goals for content success, from awareness to lead generation to buyer influence

  • Make recommendations and decisions to optimize content or strategy and maximize results 

  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines 

  • Collaborate and communicate with partners within marketing, across Workiva, and with third-party vendors and contractors

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 4+ years related creative and/or content marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B tech marketing, with a preference for Software as a Service (SaaS) expertise

  • Experience with international content development and distribution

  • Demonstrated experience with content marketing, digital assets, and complex audience segmentation (portfolio required)

  • Demonstrated success in building strong partnerships and relationships with key internal business partners across a global organization

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis and drive motions to support performance metric efforts

  • Proven ability to innovate and optimize business-driving strategies

  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines

  • Strong initiative, exceptional organizational and project management skills

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Up to 10% travel

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $79,000.00 - $134,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
