We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a passion for radiation oncology billing and enjoys a fast-paced environment.  The full-time QuickCode Billing Strategist will bring their upbeat personality to this role to provide guidance to clinics on how to set up their billing practices in Radiation Oncology.  

The QuickCode Billing Strategist will help mentor clinics as they join the Radformation community to assist them in software integration and establishing the most efficient billing QA workflow, define best practices, and increase standardization.   As the QuickCode Billing Strategist, you will develop relationships with clinics, prepare them for software implementation, perform a strategic analysis of billing and clinic operations, provide results for a return on investment, and mentor them on how to check for appropriate billing.

With your clinical coding and revenue integritybackground, you will be able to analyze, create strategic solutions, implement process improvement, and improve efficiency in Radiation Oncology clinics throughout the country.

Responsibilities
  • Host one-on-one sessions with clinics reviewing billing and coding guidelines and best practices
  • Work with clinics to understand their issues and answer their specific billing and coding questions
  • Analyze anonymized billing and clinical data to prepare standard and specialty templates 
  • Perform audits, evaluate billing trends, and provide strategic solutions for clinics 
  • Prepare reports to assist the sales team with presentations to clinics
  • Assist the QuickCode Clinical Success Team to prepare for Implementation and Software Integration to improve department processes and  billing outcomes
  • Work with the marketing team to organize webinars for the Radiation Oncology community on billing and coding topics
  • Research new coding guidelines and stay current as updates are released
  • Provide coding and billing references and support based on ASTRO, Federal, and State guidelines 
  • On-site visits to clinics when permitted

  • Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology and medical coding
  • Minimum 2 years of revenue integrity experience including claims processing and account receivable in radiation oncology and medical coding
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Positive attitude and a passion for excellence in patient care
  • AMAC ROCC certified or equivalent

  • Preferred Experience
  • 5 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology and medical coding
  • Minimum 2 years experience with ARIA OIS
  • Customer service experience
