Job Summary
The Trust Operations Analyst I will be responsible for daily tasks of AdvisorTrust related to administration, compliance, trading and reconciliation (both position and cash), and individual accounts to ensure deliverables are met timely and with quality. This position requires attention to detail with a strong orientation towards operational efficiencies, internal controls and compliance, and process improvement in a growth oriented, team focused and transformational environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and submit new business acceptance
- Prepare and submit account reviews
- Perform AML/BSA/CIP/KYC/OFAC screenings daily and remediate any discrepancies timely
- Perform monthly administrative account reviews
- Provide trust support for inquiries from internal customers
- Process daily trade requests and remediate any issues
- Perform daily fund reconciliations and remediate any issues
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and remediate any issues
- Verify and process fund dividends
- Ensure all processes are performed in compliance with our internal policies and procedures
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while processing and reviewing all required tasks
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Must be a resident of South Dakota
- Must be organized, adaptable and have a strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience working with retirement plans/financial services industry and/or organizational equivalence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
- Experience working with recordkeeping or trust accounting systems a plus
- Ability to exercise independent, mature judgment, prioritize tasks & maintain confidentiality required
- Proven ability to work in high pressure environment with deadlines
- Possesses the ability to display a range of characteristics, including calmness under pressure, a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently and maintain tight schedules
- Sitting, typing and computer monitor viewing for extended periods
Remote Work Information

Compensation Information
The average salary for this position is expected to be between $35,000 and $60,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
