We are seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates who excel in transcribing depositions and hearings. This is a fully remote position for Independent Contractors, offering flexibility and the chance to work with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
  • Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, adhering strictly to client-specific style guides to produce verbatim transcripts.
  • Collaborate remotely with our supportive in-office team to ensure high-quality outputs.

Required Skills

  • Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is mandatory.
  • Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar, are essential.
  • Proficient typing abilities, both in speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology is crucial.
  • Ability to process sensitive audio/text content.
  • Capability to pass a background check.
  • Court reporting students will also be considered.
