About the Role..
As a Wordpress Developer at Olly Olly, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our clients’ digital presence. You’ll have the opportunity to:
• Design and optimize innovative WordPress themes and websites: Leverage your technical expertise to create visually stunning and functionally robust online platforms.
• Collaborate with a talented team: Work closely with designers and QA specialists to ensure seamless integration and exceptional quality.
• Stay at the forefront of technology: Continuously research and implement new web development trends and best practices.
• Contribute to our mission: Help businesses achieve their goals and make a positive impact in the digital world by providing high-quality web solutions.
You'll be a great fit if you have..
• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end and WordPress development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
• Extensive experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom theme creation and performance optimization.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with designers, developers, and QA teams.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git and experience deploying projects to hosting platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO, accessibility, and security standards.
• Familiarity with development tools such as WP-CLI, Figma, and performance optimization tools.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database management within WordPress environments.
• A meticulous approach to quality, ensuring that your code is clean, efficient, and well-documented.
• A passion for continuous learning, keeping up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and best practices.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with team members and clients to achieve shared goals.
• Strategic thinking and a strong capacity for problem-solving and making informed decisions.

• Set Monday - Friday, 40-hour workweek; 8am to 5pm US Central Time (UTC-6)
