PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $147,800.00-$180,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $114,700.00 - $213,700.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

As a Sr Product Manager – Personal Loans at BECU, you’ll define and drive the vision and strategy that shapes our product offerings. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting roadmaps that not only meet business goals but also enhance the member experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own the Vision: You’ll develop and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Consumer Personal Loans product, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Drive Strategic Decisions: You’ll make informed decisions that reflect both complex product requirements and our overall business strategy.

  • Listen to Our Members: You’ll actively engage with our members’ feedback, integrating their voices into product design and decision-making.

  • Manage Product Flow: You’ll oversee the entire process from research to delivery, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement in our offerings.

  • Capture Insights: You’ll assess insights and lessons learned over time, adjusting the vision and roadmap as necessary to stay relevant and effective.

  • Set Priorities: You’ll manage release goals and priorities across multiple products, keeping the team focused and aligned.

  • Monitor Metrics: You’ll define and track key product metrics, including NPS and financial projections, to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Data Presentation: You’ll present data-driven ideas and strategies to all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.

  • Lifecycle Management: You’ll take ownership of the product throughout its lifecycle, ensuring it meets our members' needs at every stage.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: You’ll identify and partner with key collaborators across the organization, enhancing our capabilities and impact.

  • Stay Informed: You’ll demonstrate deep knowledge of industry trends and recommend changes to keep our products competitive and relevant.

  • Foster Team Growth: You’ll share information and provide mentoring to team members, promoting a culture of learning and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 7 years of product management, product development or product operations, or equivalent experience with platform technology. 

  • Previous experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.

  • Experience in managing highly effective cross-functional teams.

  • Experience determining product strategies based on voice of the member (customer).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.

  • Experience working in agile an environment.

  • Self-directed and able to proactively identify business and customer needs and opportunities, overcome barriers, influence, and formulate solutions with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
