Job Description

Logiwa is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technology team. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for conducting manual software testing and quality assurance for applications.

Responsibilities

Develop test cases based on the test design
Perform manual functional testing
Prepare test data
Regularly check the system for defects or issues
Execute manuel tests and review the results
Report and document defects or issues to the development team
Assist in troubleshooting
Submit daily progress reports
Review and analyze the system specification

What we're looking for:

BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or IT related fields
4-5 years of experience in understanding/applying manual testing methodologies, processes and SDLC
Having basic SQL, Web Service (SOAP, Postman etc) knowledge and experience,
Experience in working with test management systems and tools used in manual testing like Testrail, Jira, Xray, Qase …
Knowledge of quality mindset about test pyramid
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Preferably have an ISTQB certificate
Being fluent in English is a plus
Having good problem solving and analytical thinking skills
Great team player.

Location & Working Model

We are working in a full remote model. We have physical offices in İstanbul(Ataşehir Nidakule Kolektif House) where team members can get together and work collaboratively on a volunteer basis.
