Job description

Job Title: Branch Manager & Member Experience Advocate

Overview

As a Branch Manager & Member Experience Advocate, you will take the helm of a medium-sized, remote branch, ensuring alignment with our organizational, financial, service, and growth objectives. This role also involves maintaining Level II lending authority and passionately delivering exceptional service to our members by understanding their unique financial requirements and providing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Inspire, nurture, and oversee branch personnel, including hiring, performance evaluations, and recommending necessary personnel actions.
  • Operational Management: Assess branch performance metrics, ensure that targets are achieved, and address any areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication with the main office, prepare standard reports, participate in management discussions, and lead monthly staff meetings.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the branch representative in engagements with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, and other financial institutions.
  • Compliance Assurance: Guarantee that all branch operations adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Lending Oversight: Underwrite consumer loans within assigned limits and review approval decisions made by subordinate personnel as necessary.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other relevant tasks as required.

  • Solid understanding of operational oversight and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
  • An associate degree, completion of a specialized course at a business or trade school, or comprehensive in-house training/apprenticeship.
