As a Private Equity/Investment Banking Career Specialist, you will be integral to empowering our scholars as they navigate their paths towards rewarding careers in private equity and investment banking. You will join a devoted team that is committed to transforming the lives of students by equipping them with the essential skills and insights required to thrive in their internships and subsequent job placements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to a cohort of scholars through a blend of virtual, in-person, and hybrid experiences to facilitate successful internships in private equity and investment banking.
  • Continuously monitor and assess scholar progress using established internal metrics, providing insights and reports to the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Aggregate and analyze performance data related to students, utilizing findings to enhance program effectiveness and support scholar achievements.
  • Research and apply best practices from diverse organizations to improve coaching methodologies and cohort development.
  • Foster strong relationships with scholars to promote retention and ensure their success throughout their program experience.
  • Establish and maintain feedback systems with private equity and investment banking partners to optimize scholar performance during internships.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and scalability of our initiatives, ensuring robust systems are in place for effective student development and internship outcomes.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to further the organization’s mission and objectives.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for program and partner events, including potential evening or weekend commitments.
  • Enthusiasm for a start-up culture, coupled with a commitment to ethical practices and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services sector, particularly in investment banking or private equity.
