Position: Senior Commercialization & Investment Analyst - Remote/WFH

Role Overview

We are searching for a curious, meticulous, and driven post-MBA Senior Investment Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be situated in our Denver, CO office and will support the executive team in evaluating portfolio transactions and establishing commercial business opportunities. This position demands significant responsibility and requires an exceptionally organized individual who can comprehend, contextualize, and monitor the myriad details essential for assessing new investments or business ventures. The ideal candidate will thrive in challenging situations and possess the adaptability to manage both urgent and long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence on investment opportunities.
  • Maintain and cultivate industry relationships to bolster due diligence and identify new business prospects.
  • Engage with executives of target companies, industry experts, and references to evaluate deals, synthesize data, and formulate recommendations.
  • Utilize data platforms, such as Definitive Healthcare and Pitchbook, to perform assessments, competitive landscape analyses, and more.
  • Execute valuation analysis and build financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Document findings, meeting notes, and other pertinent information in our internal knowledge management systems.
  • Present thorough market analyses, including emerging trends, to inform our clients and leadership team.
  • Develop thought leadership materials, including research pieces and white papers, on strategic opportunities.

Required Skills

  • MBA or equivalent from a reputable business school, particularly with preference for healthcare industry exposure.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, financial institutions, or consulting.
  • Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication, narrative writing, and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is essential.
  • Proven experience in developing market intelligence strategies and conducting due diligence.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
